An ancient woodland next door
Our private seven-acre woodland borders the 42-hectare Trench Wood Nature Reserve. Worcestershire Wildlife Trust describes it as ancient woodland with scrub and coppice that is particularly important for woodland butterflies and warblers, with spring flowers adding another reason to visit.
The reserve is separate from Keepers Cabin and has its own public entrances and visitor guidance. It is open from dawn to dusk, paths can be muddy or slippery when wet, and dogs must be kept on a lead.
